In a recent post on her LinkedIn page, Terryanne Chebet shared some secrets to her successful career, attributing her success to hard work, resilience, and the power of purpose.

According to Terryanne, the sense of purpose-driven by passion and hard work has played a vital role in her career growth.

“Throughout my career, with its many ups and downs, I’ve learned a few lessons that I would like to share with you. Work, passion and purpose are three interconnected elements that can shape the trajectory of our lives,” she said.

Terryanne believes that following one’s innate passions only propels one to achieve goals far beyond what one had initially set out to do. She advises people to pursue things that set their hearts on fire as they are the very things that will bring eternal fulfillment in one’s career.

“When we find work that we are passionate about, it can fuel our sense of purpose and give us a deeper sense of meaning. Conversely, when we are driven by a strong sense of purpose, we are more likely to find work that aligns with our values and passions,” she said. 

Terryanne further emphasizes the will to take risks. She encourages people to step out of their comfort zones and try new things. Having taken risks of her own in her career, from starting a business in her rural home to branching out into the media industry, Terryanne believes that taking risks has helped her grow and become successful.

Terryanne also offered advice to people to work hard and be patient. She acknowledges that success does not come overnight and that one has to put in the work and be patient. The media personality believes in the power of continuous learning and advises people to be open to learning and embrace new knowledge. According to her, continuous learning helps one stay ahead of the curve and adapt to changes in the industry.

“Ultimately, the key is to stay curious, keep learning and being open to new opportunities. Whether you are just starting out in your career or looking to make a change, remember that finding work that is meaningful and fulfilling is possible, and it all starts by listening to your heart and following your passions,” she said.
