Phoinah Beauty spends over half a million in Liposuction transformation
Renowned makeup artist Lucy Wambui, popularly known as Phoina, has recently undergone a liposuction procedure as part of her self-improvement journey.
The decision comes after she shared a picture earlier in the week that sparked speculation about a possible pregnancy.
Phoina has now joined the ranks of other Kenyan celebrities, including Risper Faith, Murugi Munyi, and Tanasha Donna, who have openly embraced cosmetic enhancements to achieve their desired looks.
In an Instagram update, Phoina shared insights into her “glow-up journey,” featuring consultations with a team of medical professionals and capturing the significant moment in the operating theater.
She expressed her eagerness to undergo the surgery and humorously mentioned her last meal before entering the theatre.
“Imagine I have not eaten since jana. When you get into the theatre you don’t eat. So my last meal was at 8. I ate at my mum’s house. So today niko njaa. I just want to get into the theatre.”
Phoina emphasized her preference for having the surgery in Kenya, highlighting the importance of proper self-care.
“In the beginning of the year, being a beauty and fashion model, I was tired of people asking me if I was pregnant every time I posted an outfit. So, I knew before the year ends I will work on getting my dream body.”
She documented the entire process, from pre-surgery consultations to moments in the theatre, keeping her followers engaged in her transformative journey.
After the successful procedure, Phoina expressed her gratitude, saying:

Phoina has now left the hospital, ready to embark on her recovery and aftercare journey.

What is Liposuction?
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure that aims to reshape and contour specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits.
Liposuction is commonly performed on areas such as the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, arms, neck, and back.
It is important to note that liposuction is not a weight-loss method but rather a procedure to address stubborn pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise.
During liposuction, a surgeon uses a suction device (cannula) to break up and remove fat from the targeted areas.
