Renowned Tanzanian music producer Hanscana has shared a gripping story of an intimate yet tense moment he experienced with Bongo star Diamond Platnumz during a flight.

The duo found themselves grappling with fear as turbulence rattled their plane during a journey from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam.

Hanscana, known for his hit productions, took to his social media during the Christmas season, sipping on a glass of wine as he recounted the incident.

“There was a time we were on a flight from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, myself and Diamond, when we got in the air, there was a lot of turbulence to a point where we were panicking,” he shared.

Amidst the unsettling atmosphere, Hanscana recalled frantically searching for a life vest.

“I got one. I know myself; I am scared of flying. I put it on. When Diamond looked on his side, he couldn’t get a life vest, so he started asking me, ‘Can I have yours instead?'” Hanscana narrated.

When faced with Diamond’s request, Hanscana humorously recalled the exchange.

“I told him, ‘How can I give you my life jacket, and I’m also afraid of turbulence and death?’ He then asked me, ‘Between me and you, who should be alive? Who should stay alive?'”

Hanscana continued, “I told him I’m the one who should be alive and saved because I haven’t yet achieved everything I’d like to achieve in life. For you, you’ve already achieved everything; you’ve done everything you’ve ever wanted to do in life.”

Diamond, however, responded with a different perspective.

Diamond argued, stating, “No, no. If I survive, I’ll be able to take care of your family. But if you survive, will you be able to do the same?” The two engaged in a spirited debate about life and its priorities throughout the entire flight.

Now, looking back, Hanscana laughs about the episode, finding humour in the intense discussion that took place amidst the turbulence.
