PCEA church elder battling cancer commits suicide
A senior PCEA church elder shot himself in his house in Thome estate on Thursday.
The deceased, a licenced firearm holder, left behind a suicide note.
Police say he was suffering from cancer of the bone.
He shot himself on the right side of the chest and the bullet exited on the left side.
Scene of crime personnel have visited the scene and the body transferred to the mortuary.
