Sauti Sol’s Bien: Your partner cheats and nothing happens
Seems like Bien is bitter about something but he’s not willing to let his ego take a fall for it.
In a recent post on Instagram, the popular singer shared an opinion that has left a section of his fans wondering what could have inspired his train of thought.
Bien, who is a member of the popular Kenyan afro-pop band Sauti Sol known for his soulful voice and meaningful lyrics, wrote on his Insta-stories that he believes karma does not punish cheating partners, and that their lives continue happily without any sort of universal repercussions.
“Your partner will cheat on you and still live happily ever after. The universe will not punish them. Life is not a Nigerian movie,” read Bien’s post.
The singer is known for his bold opinions on a wide range of topics including relationships and marriages. His recent post, however, is not something that has greatly shocked his fans as he has previously expressed, or rather insinuated that he has an “open marriage” with his wife, media personality Chiki Kuruka.
The renowned radio personality, nonetheless addressed rumors of an open marriage after comments made on the couple’s reality show Sol Family sparked speculation. The comments in question suggested that the couple was free to pursue other celebrities if the opportunity arose.
However, Chiki has since clarified that the comments were taken out of context and that she and Bien value honesty and communication in their relationship. Speaking to Standard Entertainment, Chiki emphasized that while they may joke about their celebrity crushes, they are committed to each other and their marriage.
It’s not uncommon for celebrities to face scrutiny over their personal lives, and Chiki and Bien are no exception. As one of the most high-profile couples in the Kenyan entertainment industry, they are often in the public eye. However, they have always been vocal about their love for each other, and have shared glimpses of their life together on social media.
