Si namna hiyo? How Edday Nderitu introduced herself at a church service in the US

In a surprising turn of events, Edday Ndiretu, the wife of popular Kenyan musician Samidoh, recently introduced herself as “Edday wa Samidoh” during a church service held in the United States.

The announcement came as a shock to many considering recent developments in their relationship.

“Praise God, my name is Edday wa Samidoh, and I am the chair lady of the GOAT’s wife,” she said as the congregation cheered.

Eddy has made headlines lately for unfollowing Samidoh on Instagram.

She also recently suggested, in a lengthy Facebook post, that her 15-year old relationship with the popular vernacular musician is over.

Speculation surrounding their marriage has been rife ever since Samidoh’s affair with nominated Senator Karen Nyamu came to the limelight.

Just days after celebrating her birthday, Eddy unfollowed her husband on the popular social media platform, raising eyebrows among their followers.

The lack of public acknowledgment from Samidoh on Eddy’s birthday added fuel to the rumors.

Despite being the mother of their three children, Eddy did not receive any public wishes from her husband, further intensifying the speculation surrounding their troubled relationship.

On Mother’s Day, Samidoh was among celebrities who chose to snub their partners on social media. He did not share a special message dedicated to Eddy, his wife and the mother of their children. These incidents have fueled public discussions about the state of their marriage.

Eddy has been in the United States with her children since the beginning of May 2023. Her decision to travel abroad followed her public expression of pain and frustration regarding her troubled marriage with Samidoh.

“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was a humble beginning where little was enough for us, and the last three years it has been nothing but pain, I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation and being trolled on social media, you’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted,” Edday wrote.
