Tanzanian singer dies in car crash
Tanzanian singer Maunda Hellen Zoro, popularly known as Maunda Zoro, has passed away.
The singer is reported to have perished in a nasty road accident at Kigamboni area in the country capital Dar es Salaam when her car collided head-on with a lorry carrying sand.
“The family of Zahir Ally Zorro confirms the untimely death of our dear one. We will share more news in due course. Those who wish to mourn with us can join us at our home in Maweni/Kigamboni,” a family member said.
The singer is survived by three children and a husband.
