Twitter sends hugs to city lawyer shut out by Supreme Court judges
Kenyans online expressed mixed reactions after Supreme Court judges dismissed city lawyer advocate Charles Kanjama’s application to be admitted as an Amicus Curiae (friend of the court) to the presidential election petition hearing.
The court’s decision, read by Justice Ibrahim Mohammed, ruled that Mr Kanjama’s general law practice does not give him enough experience that he claimed.
Here is what KOT had to say.
I really feel for Kanjama. These supreme court judges are savages.#amicusproblems

Charles Kanjama could have played a great role in the court. He combines law and accountancy skills which most lawyers lack.

The court finds that Mr Kanjama doesn't have any technical expertise, especially of ICT nature, to add to it or entitle him to amicus curiae
