Veiled shade? Edday Nderitu shades Samidoh’s parenting style
Edday Nderitu, the wife of vernacular singer Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh, seemingly excused her husband’s parenting style and shaded him at the same time.
In a veiled social media post on December 1, 2022, Edday spoke on conscious parenting and knowing what one’s children needed.
“Conscious parenting is not about being perfect, it is about being aware. Aware of what your kids need from you to reach more of their full potential- Alex Urbina,” Edday shared on Instagram.
The caption had been posted for a photograph in which Edday and a friend appeared to be at a school event for a young girl who was photographed standing beside the duo.

Her followers wholeheartedly agreed with her sentiments, saying what she had posted were absolutely true.
Edday’s post, however, could be deduced to be a veiled excusing and shading of her husband’s parenting style.
Edday and Samidoh have been married for about 12 years and were blessed with two children before Samidoh’s wandering eye settled on controversial Senator Karen Nyamu and went on to have two children with her in the three years they were publicly having an affair.
At one point in November 2021, both Edday and Nyamu were heavily pregnant for Samidoh.

Nairobi News previously reported that Edday once posted on social media about how Samidoh had disrespected his family by publicly cheating on her and tarnishing their family’s image; as she also castigated mistresses who thought they were better than the wives of men they targeted.
Since the affair began, Samidoh has been sporadic in his engagement with his three children with Edday considering he has to balance his time to be with Nyamu and their children as well as go on his music tours and concerts across the country and world.

He is currently in the United States of America on a two-month Mugithi Tour before he heads to the United Kingdom and Qatar.
While in America, Nyamu made sure to visit him and went on to post photos of herself dressed in Samidoh’s clothes, seemingly shading his wife who was back in Kenya.
