Why Size 8 considered divorcing DJ Mo
Gospel singer Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8, has candidly shared insights into her marriage with DJ Mo, revealing a tumultuous period when she contemplated divorce and even consulted a lawyer to initiate proceedings.
In a revealing conversation with Raych and her husband on their reality show “Love in the Wild,” Size 8 discussed the profound challenges she faced, leading her to consider ending her marriage.
“I reached a place where I felt hopeless, where I saw a point of no return, and I think depression kind of kicked in. So I wasn’t thinking straight. I didn’t see a way out, so I decided to call a divorce lawyer and told him I want to divorce, I want to take the children, so I asked him to start considering the paperwork,” Size 8 shared.

DJ Mo, on his part, expressed his shock upon learning of Size 8’s decision to consult a divorce lawyer through a WhatsApp message.
He admitted to being perplexed, unsure of what actions had triggered such a response from his wife.
“When I found out about the lawyer through a WhatsApp message, she told me, ‘I’ve gone to see a lawyer and I’ve written this and that.’ I told her okay, we will talk about it. I was left wondering what I had done,” DJ Moh said.
Size 8 elaborated on the factors that ultimately prevented her from pursuing divorce, acknowledging the advice from her mother-in-law and a church retreat.
“What made me change my mind was, first, I spoke to his mother, and she told me, ‘You’re very angry, don’t rush.’ Then there was the church retreat. So I decided to give my marriage one more chance and see if he’s willing to work on it,” Size 8 explained.
Addressing DJ Mo’s comment about men not always recognising their mistakes, Size 8 emphasised the numerous issues that had led her to contemplate divorce.
“Men, even now, ask a man about his mistakes, he doesn’t know and is left wondering what he did wrong. I was considering leaving Mo for many reasons,” she added.
