Wilson Sossion praises KNH medics over forehead transformation after surgery

For a significant portion of his life, Mr. Sossion had a fat tissue on his forehead, which became a prominent feature in newspaper cartoon depictions of him.

After the successful surgery, Mr. Sossion playfully taunted cartoonists, declaring that they will no longer have the opportunity to depict the fat tissue on his forehead in their drawings.

“Cartoonists, you will have nothing to draw on my forehead anymore!”

Mr Sossion said that after a morning talk show on television, a medical doctor from Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) identified as Dr Paul Kirui asked him to visit him at the hospital for a special matter, not knowing that he was about to walk out a happy man.

“I found him with Dr Fedinand Nakole a reconstruction and plastic surgery surgeon. They advised me to have fat tissue on my forehead removed which they did yesterday with precision through a surgery lasting 15 minutes,” Mr Sossion said.

Following his successful operation, Mr Sossion celebrated Kenyan doctors, stating that they are the best, and that the Kenyan education system has delivered good doctors.

“They are the finest doctors in the world. Our education has produced the best doctors we can be proud of. Medical tourism is the next big thing in Kenya.”

Mr Sossion was among the 50 Cabinet Assistant Secretaries (CAS) appointed by President William Ruto this year.

He was appointed as nominated as CAS to the Ministry of Tourism.

However, the High Court nullified President Ruto’s appointments, but the Attorney General (AG) Justin Muturi filed for the appeal.

The matter is still in court and will determine whether Mr Sossion and others appointed will be CAS or jobless.
