Amber Ray reacts to baby daddy Ken Rapudo’s ‘eviction’ from Sh270,000 apartment
Word going around is that Amber Ray and her baby daddy Kennedy Rapudo were evicted from their Sh270,000 Kilimani duplex apartment due to pending rent arrears.
However, renowned socialite and mother of two Amber Ray has come out to defend the father of her daughter by clearing the air on the rumors that he could not afford the rent anymore stating that people are propagating lies for their benefit and entertainment.
Sharing her sentiments, Amber Ray stated, “Ken and I separated because of our differences, not because we couldn’t keep our house afloat, and it certainly wasn’t a clout chase, I do not clout chase especially not with personal matters. The rent was never an issue. I moved out mid-month, and Ken did a while after. It wouldn’t make sense for him to live in a 5-bedroom house alone.”

The budding entrepreneur went further to clarify that she and her partner have never been kicked out of an apartment due to rent arrears as they have always been capable of paying for their houses. “The rent for both our current apartments combined far exceeds the rent we used to pay in that house. So we never had arrears, and we were not kicked out.”
Amber Ray and Rapudo are back together after having separated on grounds of physical assault from the latter. The couple has been trying to make things work between them for the past couple of weeks with Rapudo going out of his way to apologize to the mother of his months-old daughter.
Reports of the two being back together started making rounds after the two were seen together celebrating the socialite’s birthday.
In a video posted by Rapudo on his Instagram, he was seen popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate Amber Ray.
The mother of two was celebrated in an all-white party which seemed to have been attended by close friends only. Rapudo took to Instagram to pen a sweet message for the socialite. He then went ahead and asked Amber to go into any club of her choice, order expensive drinks, and then he would be billed.
“When the world brought us together, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I wish you a happy birthday. Happy birthday mama Africanah Rapudo. Pop champagne sends a rich bill,” the caption read.
In the comments section, Amber has responded to the message by saying; “Thank you Baba @africanahrapudo.”
