Behind the scenes of Lilian Ng’ang’a and Juliani’s rushed wedding
Lillian Ng’ang’a, wife of renowned rapper Juliani, has opened up about the blissful journey of motherhood, reflecting on the moment she discovered she was expecting her first child, Utheri.
“I found out I was pregnant on December 2, 2021. It’s been 2 years, and it’s perfect! Happy mom!” she joyfully expressed in a post on her Instagram.
Lillian, who was previously married to Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua for ten years before their separation, announced her relationship with Julius Owino, popularly known as Juliani, shortly after the split.

The couple revealed their separation in August 2021 and quietly tied the knot in a private ceremony on February 2, 2022.
Later that year, they welcomed their son in July 2022.
In another interview, the elated mother shared her experience of motherhood, emphasizing the joy that her son, Utheri, brings into her life.
“Utheri means light, and I want my baby to be the light of the world. I have a very calm, bright-eyed handsome boy, and now that he is two months old, he loves to smile. I can’t wait for the morning for him to wake up; he already knows who I am, so he’s always snuggling next to me,” she revealed.

Despite the challenges that often accompany pregnancy, Lillian expressed her gratitude for a smooth and easy experience.
Contrary to common horror stories, she went through her pregnancy journey without morning sickness, maintaining her active lifestyle until the very end.
Addressing her marriage with Juliani, Lillian described it as “easy and beautiful,” emphasizing the lack of pressure to conform.
“Juliani is very independent; he is living his life, and I am living mine, but we are together. He is a brilliant person and wants the best for me; he brings out the best in me,” she shared.
Lillian also highlighted Juliani’s exceptional parenting skills, noting that he is a fantastic father.
“It’s very nice to watch him with the baby; they have their own language and routine, and he helps a lot with the baby. I could not ask for more,” she added.
