Exclusive: MCA Tricky opens up on pursuing a white woman for marriage
Kenyan rib-cracking comedian MCA Tricky has come out to share little-known details about his plan to get married this year.
While speaking to Nairobi News, the funnyman disclosed that he is pursuing a white woman and hopes she falls for his charms.
“Kuna haka kamzungu najaribu kuingiza box, lakini bado. Nafaa kuo hii mwaka lakini wacha tuone. Unajua siku hizi young people fear marriage (There’s this white woman I’m trying to convince to settle down with, but it’s not working out yet. I should do it this year, but let’s see. You know, nowadays young people fear marriage.)” he told Nairobi News.

“In this Kenyan economy, you can’t bring a child and have no proper means of catering to their needs and lifestyle,” Tricky shared.
“Mimi nataka mzungu, kama si mzungu wacha ikae (I want a white woman, if not, then let marriage be),” he added comically.
A few months ago, the comedian was under a lot of pressure to get married and sire children, where in an interview, he revealed that his mum does not want to hear any excuses in 2023 as to why he has not yet settled down.
At the time, the comedian had revealed that he was dating but was yet to introduce her to his mum.
“I have to be sure before I introduce her to my mum,” he said.

He went on to say that, according to his mum, he should have three children already.
“My mother is mad at me because she thinks I should have three children by now. I will not reveal so much to my fans, even after I have made things official,” he added.
During the interview with Nairobi News, the comedian shared his comedy transformation plan disclosing that he intends to switch up his comic acts to full-time stand-up comedy.
“I want to transform my brand into full-time stand-up comedy. Kenyans are used to seeing me a lot on Churchill Show doing the normal comedy, but right now I want to change my comedy act and do stand-up. It’s the way to go,” said Tricky.
Speaking of his social media skits, Tricky revealed that he does them to entertain his loyal fans, but mostly what drives him to create such content is having brand endorsements as he gets to leverage comedy to make money.
“On my social media pages, I do skits mostly when I am working with brands. So the skits help me do brand advertising and push the agenda for the brands I work with. It’s a beneficial type of content creation,” he remarked.
