Former television star Jacque Maribe announces media comeback
Former television journalist Jacque Maribe has revealed her plan to make a comeback to the screens after a five-year absence.
Maribe, previously associated with Citizen Television, had been prohibited by the courts from appearing on television screens due to her involvement in the murder case of businesswoman Ms Monica Kimani.
She was charged alongside her ex-boyfriend Joseph Irungu, also known as Jowie.
“September 1 2022, I chose to only do stories here on IG. Well, shouldn’t that change now on September 1, 2023? The sabbatical ends. Loading,” she posted on Twitter.
According to her, the production will be similar to an earlier show where she conducted interviews with top government officials, politicians, and business people.
Some of the productions dubbed the Jacque Maribe show have been shared in the past on her Instagram account adding that the new phase would be bigger.

High Court Judge, Lady Justice Grace Nzioka said that she will be making a ruling on the murder case in October.
Ms Maribe slightly joined Media Max and took an editorial position will then know her fate alongside her boyfriend Jowie.
The former television presenter has maintained her innocence saying that she was not in any way involved in the murder.
In the case, the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has urged a Nairobi Court to find the duo guilty of the murder of Ms Kimani.
Assistant DPP Gakui Gichuhi told Justice Grace Nzioka that taking into account the ingredients of malice aforethought, the court should conclude that the prosecution has successfully established the ingredients of murder.
Ms Maribe was arrested after her vehicle was allegedly used by Mr Jowie to go to the home of Ms Kimani.
The motor vehicle was then towed to the police station, released, and handed back to her.
