Here are the celebrities who have graced Akothee’s wedding
Kenyan singer Esther Akoth alias Akothee’s dream has become a reality after walking down the aisle on her birthday. According to the self-proclaimed president of single mothers, getting married on her birthdate remained a wish ever since, and she finally made it through while celebrating her 40th birthday.
The invite-only grand wedding, which is currently happening at the Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi will witness Akothee and her man Dennis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer’s vows to love and to hold till death do them part.
The nuptials have attracted the who and who in the country, people who have had relationships with Akothee from way back. The dignitaries present have also been in some of her highlight moments in life.
Kisumu First Lady Madam Dorothy Nyong’o to whom she had been taking marriage lessons, graced the day. Last year, Akothee shared, “I am learning. And in my next marriage, I look up to the couple. When I grow up, I want to be loving, patient, and humble like my mentor Mama Lupita.”

Also present is the Migori First Lady Dr Agnes Ayacko, former Mombasa gubernatorial candidate Suleiman Shahbal and the High Court advocate, Professor PLO Lumumba. The latter was the guest of honour during her book’s inauguration.
Popular rib-cracker Dr Ofweneke will be the master of ceremony, a role he graciously takes on in almost all of Akothee’s events.
Other guests present are media personality Janet Mbugua, comedian Timothy Kimani aka Njugush, radio presenter Alex Mwakideu, Syombua Osiany, and actress Sandra Dacha who has been very instrumental in planning the wedding.
Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o is the designated chauffeur that has ferried madam boss to her wedding venue. The two call each other siblings and have never shied from having each other’s back.
Content creators, Milly wa Jesus and her husband plus TikToker Azziad Nassenya are expected to also be in the venue.
