Kenyan woman in Saudi Arabia captured on video being assaulted by colleagues


An amateur video is making rounds on social media showing a Kenyan woman being assaulted by her colleagues in Saudi Arabia.

As per the video, the woman was assaulted after she was accused of stealing money.

The unidentified woman is reported to have moved in with some Kenyan friends but allegedly made away with the cash which she used to pay a driver and a new house which she was moving to.

According to women who were captured in the video assaulting their colleague claimed she stole Sh400,000.

“Honestly, I did not take any money stop accusing me falsely and my phone is currently with the driver who came to pick me,” the accused is heard pleading.

The other women tell her off as they demand that she hands them the number of the driver so that they can have a conversation with him.

At some point one of them even reaches out for a knife with which she threatens to slash the fingers of the accused.

Cases of Kenyans being mistreated and assaulted in Saudi Arabia have been on the increase in the recent past.

In January 2023, a Kenyan woman identified as Ms Gloria Mutuku died on New Year while she was being treated at a hospital in Saudi Arabia.

According to the woman’s family they had been informed that the daughter was in hospital but were not told how critical her condition was.
