Mitchelle Ntalami’s life tip on how to avoid heartbreak

Marini Naturals CEO Mitchelle Ntalami has come out yet again with her two cents on matters of relationships and love.

Having had a publicly displayed tumultuous breakup with media personality Makena Njeri that had everyone talking, Ntalami has made a name for herself on social media as a woman who constantly shares relationship advice and tips on how to be a better version of oneself.

Among her many nuggets of wisdom, Ntalami this time round went all out in sharing a life tip that she has come to learn in her nasty painful experiences in regards to love in all aspects.

In an Instagram post, Ntalami wrote that she has had experiences in love that have left her drained and used despite her clean and clear intentions.

“Life tip, something you can learn from me. I used to give way too many people my time, love, support, and access so freely. Trust me to this day, I have paid dearly for that. Family, ‘friends’, and lovers alike. It got abused, taken for granted, and in most cases, unrequited,” Ntalami started off her post.

She added that she no longer gives herself off the way she used to and instead focuses on herself, further claiming that giving people the benefit of the doubt only leaves you heartbroken and hurt.

“These days, I only show up for myself, my bag, and the few who are in my life. Learn to be inaccessible. Select carefully who comes into your world. Stop giving people the benefit of the doubt. Believe who they are. Leave on the first major hurt or deal breaker,” she reiterated.

The Instagram influencer went on to quote Kenyan athlete Eliud Kipchoge by saying that one should learn how to say ‘No’ where it’s warranted.

“Move in silence in everything. F*k being seen. Ghost and build yourself in all ways. There’s absolutely nothing you’re missing out on out there except your peace. Learn to say NO. As Eliud Kipchoge calls it, Vitamin N!”

While concluding her post, Ntalami shared,

“And if you know you are the kind of person who loves purely and automatically adds value to another, never give yourself so easily anymore. Remember, it’s a privilege for anyone to even be in your presence.”

Despite the pain she has experienced in her love journey, Ntalami has always been open and straightforward with her social media followers, sharing her pain through and out of the healing process. The entrepreneur has been praised for handling her breakup with the utmost grace and respect, which her then-partner didn’t necessarily deserve.
