Kunguru sought treatment in several hospitals to save his life until he breathed his last due to liver failure on Sunday 19 at 2 pm.
Speaking during the funeral service at the Montenzuma and Monalisa Funeral Home in Kibra Constituency, the Alego Usonga MP said he worked in the political field with the late.
“We are going to bury a man who was multitalented. Eric was a banker, a politician, a musician among more,” MP Atandi said.
The MP revealed that at one point, Kunguru campaigned for him during his second bid in the 2022 elections, which he won.
The politician revealed that Kunguru had plans to run for the Alego Usonga seat in 2027.
“We had agreed with Kunguru that since he supported my bid in 2022, I could pay him back by supporting him in the 2027 elections to succeed me as the Alego Usonga MP,” Mr Atandi said at the funeral service
