Muhoozi heaps praise on ‘mtukufu’ Samia Suluhu
Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’s son says he only fears God.
“We (Swahili) people are very dangerous. We only fear God,” he wrote on Twitter in a post that was later deleted.
In a separate tweet, Muhoozi heaped praise on Tanzania President Samia Suluhu, describing her as mtukufu (most high).
“You are the President of swahili people like me. May you be blessed,” he wrote.
He also shared a photo of Suluhu dressed in full military regalia.

The first son has also promised to soon visit Tanzania, his country of birth, so as to pay a courtesy call to Suluhu whom he described as ‘the greatest woman in Africa’.
My next visit is to my true Motherland! Tanzania!! I will be very happy to visit the land of my birth and salute the greatest woman in Africa! H.E. @SuluhuSamia!!

The messages on Tanzania and Suluhu come days after he sent out controversial tweets that stirred up a diplomatic tiff with Kenya and cost him his job as Commander of Land Forces in the Ugandan army.
He was however promoted to General, the highest rank in the army.
In the controversial tweets, he initially expressed disappointment with his ‘big brother’ retired president Uhuru Kenyatta for failing to contest for a third term against the Kenyan constitution in the August 2022 polls.
He then suggested he’d only need a fortnight to capture Nairobi.
He is yet to apologize for the tweets even though his father did issue an apology to Kenyans and East Africans.
