Pray for him! Tahidi High star Dennis Mugo a.k.a OJ mourns dad
Former Tahidi High actor Dennis Mugo, popularly known as OJ is mourning the death of his dad, Mr Njue.
According to details seen by Nairobi News, the father of one eulogized his dad as his mentor.
He revealed that his dad died on Monday, December 5, at 6 am after a long struggle with diabetes and Covid-19 complications.
OJ’s dad was living in Atlanta. In the social media post, OJ announced that his body would be flown into the country soon.
Burial arrangements are ongoing.

OJ’s dad will be buried in their home in Embu.
“Good evening friends. It’s with a heavy heart that I announce to you the passing of my father, friend and mentor, Mr Njue.
After a struggle with diabetes and covid, Mzee passed jana at 6 am. His body is to be flown from Atlanta for burial in Embu.”

OJ also appealed to his friends to support him both financially and through prayers.
In 2021, the popular actor introduced his dad and mum to social media during their wedding.
The former Tahidi High Actor celebrated his mother who got married at 60 years old.
OJ said that his mother tied the knot at the office of the Attorney General.
“My mother got married today she is kedo (about) 60 years old. Love is such a wonderful thing. #nevertoolate. cheers mama 😘” shared OJ.

Earlier on, OJ had revealed on his YouTube channel, OJ FLiX, that he was brought up by a single mother who went to great lengths to give him everything he needed in life.
OJ stated that he got the best as a child.
He currently works for the Embu county government in the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, specifically in the Talent Academy.
