Scores injured as matatu rams into bakery in city centre – PHOTOS
A 14-seater matatu lost control on Tuesday afternoon and rammed into a city bakery along Moi Avenue.
The matatu, registered under St Marys Sacco, ploughed into Baker’s Inn leaving several customers injured.
The bakery is located on the ground floor of Ken BancoHouse, opposite the busy Railways bus terminus.
The accident caused a traffic snarl-up on Moi Avenue.
A Kenya Red Cross ambulance arrived at the scene to administer first aid to the injured.
