Toothless bite? Edday Nderitu still with Samidoh months after she threatened to quit
Many thought that when Edday Nderitu read her husband the riot act on his philandering ways and threatened to leave him, she would actually do it.
She was hailed for having a spine in light of all the ridicule and humiliation she received when Samidoh and his mistress, Senator Karen Nyamu, flaunted their relationship online and went on to have two children in a span of 16 months.
“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was a humble beginning where little was enough for us, but for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain, I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation, and being trolled on social media. You’ve made me look dumb and taken my silence for granted. I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10yrs, has no morals and zero respect to my family ‘kiura Kia ngaba’ as you put it. I have asked God every day to give me strength to pray for you but today I have nothing to tell God about you, you have dragged and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain may you remember this day.” ranted Edday in February 2023 when Samidoh and Nyamu reunited at a funeral and rekindled their relationship following her drunken Dubai spectacle.
Since then until today, it would appear Edday did not kick Samidoh to the curb as she threatened to do so. Despite not often posting about him on her socials as she used to do, she now keeps a low profile and is often posting motivating and encouraging messages to her followers; and adorable pictures of her children.
On one occasion, she has been spotted with Samidoh when they celebrated their daughter’s first birthday party whereby they danced together as Samidoh sang to her about how he still loved her; and when they carried out charity work together in Nyandarua County yesterday- notable while Karen Nyamu was out of the country. The two have also recently engaged in online banter dripping in affection, long-time cherished love and memories while they reminisced about their lives as kids and their earlier dating years.
The adage does hold true, you can never advise a woman in love with a man, no matter how many red flags- and babies- he goes around planting.
