Trouble in paradise? Samidoh and Karen Nyamu unfollow each other

The once closely-watched love story of Mugiithi artiste Samuel Muchoki, widely known as Samidoh, and his baby mama, Senator Karen Nyamu, appears to be encountering a rough patch as the two have reportedly unfollowed each other on social media.

Fans, who have been captivated by the dynamics of their relationship, observed the conspicuous absence of mutual follows on Instagram, signalling a potential strain between the pair.

Adding fuel to the speculations, Samidoh recently shared a social media post announcing the launch of his foundation, excluding any mention or invitation extended to his baby mama and nominated Nairobi Senator Karen Nyamu.

Unlike other times the Senator has always shown support and has also not posted anything about this upcoming project.

Not this time, though!

This raised eyebrows among fans, prompting inquiries into the status of their relationship.

Sarah Gitau, a concerned follower, commented on the situation: “Na nikama kinakuramba Samidoh. Mbona uli unfollow huyo mmama wako?? I thought ni mfavourite, look alike na sijui mscorpio. (It is like sh*t has hit the fan. Why did you unfollow your woman? I thought she was your favorite…)”

Samidoh responded to the post, expressing that sometimes that is how life is.

“Si ni life?” he wrote adding laughing emojis.

Karen, the mother of Samidoh’s two children, has not yet provided a response regarding the current status of her relationship with Samidoh.

The couple was recently spotted sharing a motorcycle ride, with Karen capturing the moment on camera.

Both individuals wore happy smiles during the journey, displaying a carefree and joyful demeanour despite their history of romantic entanglements and previous controversies.

Samidoh is launching his foundation on November 30, 2023 at Parklands Sports Club set to be attended by the who is who in the industry.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, Nyandarua governor Dr. Kiarie Badilisha and Senator Hon Methu are on the list of guests.

While announcing the project, Samidoh shared: “In the last four years, through Guitar ya Samidoh Initiative, we have supported people through education, feeding programs, scouting and helping upcoming artists to record their music, among other activities.”

Adding, “And now, ladies and gentlemen, the vision has grown big, and we will be launching Samidoh Foundation…”
