Watch out for these rising stars of Kenyan music


Fresh stars are emerging in the Kenyan music landscape with cultural diversity and creative brilliance, capturing hearts with their electrifying performance.

The spotlight has shone on gifted individuals making their mark and leaving a trail wherever they go.

These rising stars have not only caught the attention of audiences but also hold the potential to shape the future of Kenyan entertainment.

Here are some of the upcoming Kenyan music stars of the near future:

Ngesh – Mary Wangechi popularly known as Ngesh Bad Gal hit the airwaves after releasing her song Rieng Genje.

The song attracted the likes of nominated senator Karen Nyamu, and former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko and became an internet sensation with thousands of Kenyans and TikTokers jamming into it.

Ngesh is a Spider Clan member, which includes her brothers and a childhood friend.

In past interviews, Ngesh expressed her desire for their music career to flourish and for bigger opportunities to arise.

Nominated Senator Nyamu is one of Ngesh’s biggest fans. The senator has promised to support her in recording her music and helping her acquire the necessary equipment to start creating content.

Bridget Blue – Bridget Kendi alias Bridget Blue set the internet ablaze after releasing the lyric video and audio for her single Kesho. The inspiring song came five months after Bridget Blue released the track Grateful with millions of Kenyans falling in love with her voice.

Bridget Blue, who is signed under DigitOne Music Group, is a three-time Africa Award nominee and a professional makeup artiste.

Latinoh – The 23-year-old Likoni resident was unveiled last year by songstress Nadia Mukami. When unveiling her new signee, the Radio Love hitmaker said Latinoh’s vocal ability, melodies, songwriting and personality were what wowed her to take him under her wings.

The duo would then release their first single featuring Latinoh dubbed Siwezi which garnered more than 700,000 views on YouTube. A couple of days ago, the two released Tamu, Latinoh’s second single.
