We shall help you find a wife, Jacque Maribe tells Dennis Itumbi

Media personality Jacque Maribe has broken her silence on the ongoing speculations surrounding her relationship with digital strategist Dennis Itumbi.

Taking to her social media platforms, Maribe penned a heartfelt birthday message to Itumbi, celebrating two decades of their friendship.

“Happy birthday Dennis Itumbi. The two solid decades of friendship have been a testament to highs and lows and love all the same. This new year around the sun, this group in this photo will help you find a wife, so everyone stops assuming it’s me. Happy birthday,” Maribe shared, setting the record straight amidst swirling rumours.

This isn’t the first time Maribe and Itumbi’s relationship has sparked curiosity.

Back in January 2023, Maribe playfully introduced Itumbi as her father’s son-in-law in an Instagram story, accompanied by a captioned photo of Itumbi with her father.

“Mr Maribe and his son-in-law, no matter what anyone says, we remain family,” Maribe remarked, igniting further speculation about their relationship status.

Their friendship dates back even further, with notable moments like Itumbi’s surprise flower delivery on live TV during Maribe’s birthday.

Their bond was further evident in January 2024 when Itumbi expressed profound happiness upon Maribe’s acquittal in the murder case of Monica Kimani.

Itumbi, who stood by Maribe’s side throughout the trial, hailed the verdict as the unveiling of truth, dispelling darkness and unjust chains that sought to bind her spirit.

Reflecting on the journey, Itumbi remarked:

“It has been six years, a journey of shadows, where unjust chains sought to bind the spirit of a great friend, a charming personality, a friend I treasure much.”

He emphasized Maribe’s resilience and promised unwavering support as she moved forward, urging her to rise from the ashes and embrace her newfound freedom.

“You have only one duty, rise from the ashes, for time may be lost, but not the essence of your being.”

Itumbi turns 39 years old today.
