Tonto Dikeh speaks about one thing she regrets in life and her past relationships

Controversial Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has come out to share her sentiments in regard to her past relationships saying she does not regret a thing.

Speaking in an interview with a Nigerian blogger, the famous actress confessed to having only one regret in her life but her past relationships don’t qualify.

“Honestly, I have only regretted one thing in my life, but my relationships no. My first relationship gave me the most beautiful boy in the whole world. The second one taught me that even if you show me true love, you can still be the devil,” Dikeh said.

The actress went on to say that if she were to go back in time she would not have gotten herself involved with her exes, to begin with.

“So I learned a lot from my relationships, I will never say that I regret it. Should I have been there? Probably if I was to go back, I wouldn’t have gotten myself involved, but I don’t think I have a right to regret what I went through,” she said.

Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband , Churchill Olakunle, met in 2014 at a party, and six months later sired a son together. The couple divorced in 2017 after they each threw allegations at each other followed by social media rants. Dikeh’s ex-husband went on to marry another woman who is believed to have been Dikeh’s personal assistant.

The renowned thespian, however, may be successful in her other endeavors, especially in film, but late last year she admitted to having missed her initial calling.

In another interview with Nigerian media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actress said her original plan in life was to go into the gospel ministry.

Although she has taken up other professions, Dikeh said the door is not closed, as she may still answer the call.

“I’m an opportunist with this thing called acting or entertainment. But God has ordained that step already. I was swimming in a swimming pool. I was a church girl, going to be a pastor. I was supposed to be a pastor. I still might. It depends on where God is taking me to,” said Dikeh.

In 2017, shortly after her divorce, the actress announced that she was now born again, declaring herself ‘Radical for Jesus’.
