Mugiithi!! MCA Sharleen Wambui shares quality of ideal man
A nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) in Murang’a has publicly outlined the qualities of her ideal man.
Sharleen Wambui made public the desires of her heart a few days after Bomet Woman Representative Linet ‘Toto’ Chepkorir officially quit singlehood life.
Last week, Ms Chepkorir got engaged to her fiancée, Godfrey Kimutai Tanui in a colorful event.
Days later, Ms Wambui explained on her socials that her man has to love Benga music.
She stressed her love for a fiancee who will be taking her to Mugiithi concerts.
“One of my biggest fears in this life is getting married to a man who is not Kikuyu, wuuuuuueh nani atakuwa ananipeleka MUGITHI?? Ngaaaaaai!!” she hilariously wrote.
For good measure, she tagged popular Mugithi singers Jose Gatutura and Gathee Wa Njeri in the post.
“Ndigihota!! (A Kikuyu word meaning I cannot manage),” Wambui stressed.
Her followers, especially men stormed the post with some offering to propose to her.
Gathee Wa Njeri responded, hysterically telling her even if she gets a man who does not fit into the ‘class’ he should just accompany her to Mugithi performances, but gossip behind his back.
“Hahaa unakuja na yeye alafu tunamsengenya na nyimbo na haelewi… Ati ‘Thii uhiki no honey moon tugithii nawe’,” the artist commented.
“Thii uhiki no honey moon tugithii nawe”, is a Kikuyu statement loosely translated as; Just wed him, but honeymoon I enjoy it with you.
Ms Wambui just laughed off the comic statement.
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) allied party MCA, later made another post notifying her followers that the dilemma has since been addressed.
“The issue has been settled!! They have told me the equivalent of Mugithi is ISIKUTI and they will teach me! Additionally they will also teach me how to shake my shoulders!! Thank you all for the concern…Kumechemuka!! Harooooooooooo!! Karibu niachwe tena,” she wrote.
Of late, the county lawmaker has been sharing photos of her in the company of Firsat daughter Charleen Ruto.
