Akothee affirms Azziad’s credibility of being in the creative committee
Kenyan singer cum entrepreneur Esther Akoth alias Akothee has affirmed TikToker Azziad Nasenya credibility in the Talanta Hela council under the creative committee.
Speaking during her bridal shower, Akothee heaped praises on Azziad urging her to keep grinding on TikTok and while at it ignoring and blocking naysayers.

Azziad has been under criticism due to her appointment, with some Kenyans questioning her credibility in the creative committee. While giving Azziad her flowers, Akothee said, “Some people might yap right left center but without Azziad there would be no TikTok in Kenya. Give credit where it is due.”
The mother of five revealed that she learned about Azziad and TikTok through her children. “Mom there is this app called TikTok and there is this girl who is dancing nikikupea utawezana,” she says as she imitates the dance move.
She then educates her fans telling them that in this life, one needs to look at themselves in the mirror and without feeling jealous of the other person, ask how they go there.
“Like Azziad, she had a talent, she saw a niche and she got in there,” she explains.

Akothee, who revealed that she tried the application, but due to her menopause, she was out in two days, congratulated Azziad saying, “Congratulations mummy, put your head high. Nobody should tell you anything. You were appointed because of creativity and you are under the Talanta Hela council under the creatives committee.”
The 22-year-old rose to fame after she danced to Utawezana, a Femi One featuring Mejja. Her fame after the video went viral would earn her ambassadorial deals, awards, and jobs.
However, the journey has not been easy as she has been cyberbullied and called out by people who feel she did not earn the positions she is getting. On her side, Azziad has stood tall and pushed on regardless.
