Congratulations! Anita Nderu welcomes daughter
Media personality Anita Nderu and hubby Barret Raftery have welcomed their first child.
Posting the photo of their newborn’s face, Nderu said, “I am no longer pregnant🤭😀😄🤦🏾♀️👏🏽🥳@barrettraftery and I finally got to meet our daughter Kaya Gacheri Catalina Raftery (Rap name: Nippy Suckle😁) on the 26th of August 2022 at 3:48am❤️♍️What a whirlwind couple of days it has been🙌🏽”
Grateful for their first child, Anita added, “We are elated beyond words, grateful and in love and awe of our little human❤️ We’re finally back home🥳 Our rent free housemate is about to reveal her true colours as she schools us through the 4th trimester👶🏾🤗😄 Parenthood 101 is now in session🚸”

The bubbly personality has wowed her fans all through her pregnancy with her even sharing she would have a whole playlist in labour.
“I will be that person walking/crawling into my labour room with a JBL speaker, B with a cooler box and our squad of labour supporters and my over-packed hospital bag with all kinds of essentials whose use remains to be seen,” read part of her caption on the video.
Not shying from revealing that she had imported her baby’s clothing, Anita who enjoyed redecorating and researching baby’s outfits online said, “Our baby’s first few months items have arrived, and I’m kind of emotional.”
Anita who is constantly referred to as peanut announced she was expecting in style mid-this year.
The stylish Anita transitioned from a red leather dress to a black-and-white gown to nothing but beads, showcasing her bump.

The ex-host of The Trend first introduced her husband to her social media fans in February of the same year.
In 2020 she sparked speculations about her sexuality after launching a gay-themed cook-off online show titled The Overdressed Cook.
Having received criticism from her fans due to the explicit content aired on the show, Anita responded by saying she will not accept living her life defined by what other people think.
