Drama: Khaligraph Jones sues baby mama, Cashy Karimi

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has taken his baby mama, Cashy Karimi to court over their ongoing squabbles regarding child support.

A statement issued by Khaligraph’s management on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, revealed that they have a suit at the Milimani Magistrate’s Court that was filed in February 2022 after she made “outrageous demands.”

“After a long period of constant harassment by Cashy against our artiste, he sought her out intending to reach an amicable settlement out of court. However, this approach was not successful due to her outrageous demands,” read the statement.

The management company went on to state that there are interim orders issued by the Court to stop Cashy from publishing details regarding their child, the case or the parties involved.

“…she is now clearly in contempt (of these orders). Our artiste has restrained himself throughout the harassment and defamation of character. We seek to state categorically that our artiste will not be dragged into meaningless online wars and shall await the decision of the courts which he commits to abide by,” concluded the statement.

In several social media posts over the past few days, Karimi has been posting allegations of Khaligraph not supporting their child despite his requesting her to bring the child to him.

In one video online, Cashy captioned it that Khaligraph was headed to the police station to report her.

He could be seen walking away from Cashy and their child.

“There is enough effort to hire lawyers to issue constant threats of taking me to the police, but no effort for the fees. I hope you all heard him showing me where the police station is,” wrote Cashy on Instagram.

Cashy also claimed that Khaligraph had her and their son travel to Nairobi to enrol him in a better school but when they arrived, Khaligraph ghosted them.

They were left stranded in the city for two months as Khaligraph allegedly gave “unfair conditions” for the child to be enrolled in the school.

“What is the point of delaying a legal case intentionally and threatening the mother with arrest…constantly? What’s the point of having a child out of school for a term and a half, while all others have reported back despite the mother being in compliance and following all necessary methods, with limited means?” Cashy posted on Instagram.

She also alleged that much pressure was being put on her to hand over her son to be taken care of “by a woman younger than her and who is handling her young children all under the age of four”.

Khaligraph is currently in a committed relationship with 22-year-old Georgina Muteti and have children together.
