She went on to mention audio and video transcribing and captioning as another top remote job one can be paid via mobile money. Apparently, the Kenyan market is flooded with transcribers who listen to audio and write them out as captions for videos either for movies or social media; and the job pays really well. Attentiveness to details is one of the key requirements for this job.

“Another thing you can do and get paid here in Kenya – very lucrative but take a bit of time to learn and do – is affiliate marketing. Here you just need the skills to create good online landing pages on blogs or social media; and choosing the right product to promote through links. You just need your skills. You don’t need to pay anyone or have startup funds to do this,” the TikToker said.

The last remote job she mentioned was becoming a virtual assistant- something she is currently doing. In this category, one can become a search engine optimization assistant, a social media manager or any other job in which an employer requires an assistant.
