J Plasma: Zari Hassan spills the tea on her expensive cosmetic surgeries

Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan recently revealed details about two expensive body enhancement surgeries she underwent.

In an interview with TV presenter Faridah Nakazibwe on the show Mwasuze Mutya, Zari shared her decision to undergo tummy surgery and leg surgery to remove excess fat.

Zari, who is currently in Uganda, candidly discussed her cosmetic procedures, explaining that she opted for an abdominoplasty. This popular cosmetic surgery procedure targets the abdomen by removing excess skin and fat while tightening the abdominal muscles.

She also did surgery on her legs to remove unwanted fat.

She clarified that these surgeries are not “plastic” in the sense of adding synthetic materials but rather involve the removal of fat from specific areas of her body.

Zari emphasized that there is nothing wrong with undergoing cosmetic surgery and that people often misunderstand the process.

“I just took fat out of my body where I felt like it was not necessary. I have had five kids, natural births, and every time you give birth, you are left with a mummy tummy. I used to exercise, but that mummy tummy did not go away, and I needed to get rid of it, and there is nothing wrong with it,” she said.

Zari further explained that in her world, South Africa, cosmetic surgery is considered a lifestyle choice.

She expressed her belief that if one can afford it, there is no harm in undergoing such procedures.

Zari confidently dismissed her critics, asserting that they only discuss her in jealousy, wishing they could look as good as she does.

When asked about the cost of her body enhancement surgeries, Zari admitted that they came with a hefty price tag.

She revealed that she had the procedures done in South Africa, which is known to be more expensive than in other locations such as Turkey.

Zari estimated that her surgeries cost her over $10,000 (approximately Sh 1,411,000).

In addition to liposuction, Zari shared her journey with a groundbreaking technique called J Plasma, which offers non-surgical facelift-like results without the usual risks and downtime associated with traditional surgery.

The procedure is divided into two categories: face and body. Depending on the area being treated, the approach is slightly adjusted.

For body treatments, the procedure is conducted under the skin to restore definition, while face and neck procedures focus on external tightening and resurfacing of the skin.

In some cases, external and internal treatments may be used, tailored to meet individual needs. The choice of general or local anesthesia depends on the specific body part being treated.

Zari attributed the tightening of her tummy to the J-Plasma treatment.

She expressed her desire to share her experiences so that other women may learn and consider their options.
