Sanaipei Tande opens up about her departure from TV show ‘Kina’
Singer and actress Sanaipei Tande has revealed whey she left popular TV show ina, which streams on Showmax.
In an interview with Oga Obinna, Sanaipei, who played the role of Nana Tandala in the show, explained that chronic fatigue is what led to her exit from the series in February.
Sanaipei dismissed claims of conflicts and financial disputes during her time in the show, saying the work place is not necessarily a place to make friends.

“I was reading some comments on social media, and I was like, where do you people get these things from? There were stories about beef and financial issues. But the honest truth is chronic fatigue. There was a lot of work,” Sanaipei said.
She acknowledged her enjoyment of portraying the tough character, Nana, but said her health was being significantly affected.
“My health was really being affected. I couldn’t go on. I needed time to rest,” she said.

The actress-cum-singer expressed her gratitude to the production team, saying her request for time off was met with understanding and acceptance.
Although fans have been eager for her return, Sanaipei made it clear that she has moved on from the show and will not be swayed by external pressure.
“They didn’t write me out. How do they write me out if the Nana character continues?” Sanaipei questioned, addressing rumours that her character was killed off.
Her ‘Nana’ character has since been taken over by Mbeki Mwalimu.
And what has she been up to lately? Just taking things one day at a time.
