She observes that getting married early played a key role in her journey in the media profession as well furthering her studies.

“I’m a lucky to have gotten married early to a good person and I had my children quite early. I had all my five children before I was 30,” she opened up.

Having had her brood early doubled with the massive support from her husband, two combos made it a little bit easier for her to go back to school for her two post graduate Master’s degrees.

Farah, a certified auditor and public accountant, was recently appointed by President William Ruto to be a member of the National Investment Council.
