Kenyan radio host and rapper Point Blank Evumbi raising funds for urgent treatment
Sunday Cruise radio show host Point Blank Evumbi, his family, and friends are currently mobilizing Kenyans to raise funds to receive urgent treatment that will restore normalcy to his life.
In a fundraiser poster seen by Nairobi News on October 28, 2022, it was revealed that Mr Evumbi suffered a sudden illness that affected his sensory and motor skills.
“…he needs urgent medical treatment to get back on his feet and lead a normal life. He is undergoing treatment and is on the road to recovery.
However, we request your help to raise funds to foot his medical bills. Please share what you can via the M-Changa link and feel free to share the link within your circles,” read the poster.

The funds drive organizers gave the Paybill 891300 and account number 59087 as to where funds could be channeled. They did not clarify what exactly ailed the radio show host.
For a social media butterfly, his last post was on August 17, 2022, when he shared a video of DJ Pinye and himself jamming to old-school music while in the studio.
Mr Evumbi, born Emmanuel Oluoch Nyakwada, is a creative person with his hands in several cookie jars.
He is a widely acclaimed illustrator and animator, having worked on popular illustration strips like Tinga Tinga Tales, and is also a talented animator.

A scroll through his Instagram reveals a man who enjoys illustrating and animating, having participated in fan art competitions.
He has art on Viola Davis for her role in The Woman King movie and his own popular illustration series, Shadow Walkers.
Additionally, he is a household name in Hip Hop circles, having released the hit song, The Gamble, which received wide airplay. Other cookie jars from where he eats include podcasting and television hosting.
