Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai is mourning the death of her best friend, identified as Sonia.

Anerlisa announced that she had lost a good friend with whom she had schooled in England.

The two have since maintained their friendship; she said they spoke weekly.

“I really can’t believe you are gone for real. Sonia was my best friend at the University of Buckingham. We spoke weekly despite her living in Nigeria,” she said.

Anerlisa said she and her friend were planning for a reunion after ten years.

“She was family and her whole family welcomed me as their daughter. This is one friend I’ll forever mourn.”

Anerlisa revealed that her friend died in a tragic accident.

“Honestly this one, I did not expect. Accidents rob us people the wrong way.”

The astute businesswoman has also shared memories of her friends from way back.

In one of the photos, she shared how she set up a real birthday surprise for her in her dormitory.

“It was only two of us and it took us two weeks to finish those two cakes.”

Anerlisa also lost her sister Tecra Muigai in a “tragic accident” two years ago.

She termed her sister’s death the most challenging thing she has ever gone through.

Tecra died on May 3, 2020, with Lali saying she had fallen down the staircase.

During an inquest into the death of the Keroche heiress, Doctor Barack Mubarak had a different take on what caused her death.

“There was a cut on her head, which is not a normal fall. Such an injury is likely caused by an object with an external force,” he said.

The doctor said the impact was very heavy.

“From initial assessment, it did not appear like it was a normal fall on the stairs. If it was, there would be bruises, but there were no observations of bruises,” Mubaraka said.

He said it is impossible to damage internally located bones, which are very hard, in the impact of a mere fall.

The doctor, who attended Tecra at King Fahad Hospital in Lamu, said her left temporal bone fractured, extending to the back.
