TikToker Mummie Francie eyeing Woman Rep seat in 2027
TikTok sensation cum content creator Mummie Francie has revealed her plans to run for a political seat in the 2027 General Election.
In an interview with media personality Oga Obinna, Mummie said she is eyeing a Woman Representative seat in the National Assembly.
However, she admitted that she has neither decided which county she will seek the seat nor which political party she will run, but her husband would research and advise her accordingly.
The content creator also said she is hopeful of being elected even without a Degree.

“I want to be a Woman Representative because I have much to share as a leader,” she said without explaining further.
She also she would have been on the ballot last year but decided to sit it out due to financial challenges.
“I was to run last year but Mbaba (my husband) told me that it would not be wise to finish all the money since it was not even enough,” she said.

On how prepared she is to launch her political career, Mummie jokingly said “I have even taken the necessary photos.”
Several Kenyan celebrities have in the past transitioned from showbiz to politics after enjoying years in the limelight. Among them is Phelix Odiwour aka who is now the MP for Lang’ata, Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba, Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda as well as Nyali MP Mohammed Ali.
Others include former Starehe MP Charles Njagua aka Jaguar, nominated MP Sabina Chege and Kiambu Woman Rep Ann Wamuratha.
