Hypocrisy! Pastor Kiengei calls out men of God who ask congregants to buy them cars
Pastor Ben Kiengei popularly known as Muthee Kiengei has given his take on congregants making donations to purchase their pastor vehicles calling it ” hypocrisy of the highest order”.
While addressing his flock during a Sunday service at the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) Kibia Memorial Cathedral, the Man of God shared that he would never ask his flock to donate towards buying him a car, and if they would buy him one, then at the side it should be branded the church’s name.

“This is so that once I’m transferred [to another church] the car is left on the church’s premises and is driven by the next pastor,” he observed.
Adding, “There is no need for you people to be making donations and buying a pastor a car but when you need one, the pastor tells you to come and kneel before God in prayer. That’s the hypocrisy of the highest order.”
Opining that cars are not bought through prayers, Pastor Kiengei explained, “Cars are purchased by money but [unscrupulous pastors are] telling congregants to ask for cars through prayer.”
The outspoken pastor was late last month ordained and elevated to the level of a parish minister and has remained vocal on issues surrounding the society.

Barely two months ago, pastor Kiengei-born Benson Gathungu advised men not to neglect the children they brought into the world even though the circumstances around how the child was born are not confining with the societal norms.
Posting about the lesson in his socials while celebrating his daughter, the man of the cloth who doubles up as a Kameme FM radio presenter said, “Your child is not a sin, he or she is your responsibility until death.”
Pastor Kiengei who is also a Kikuyu comedian has been leading by example by taking care of children from his previous relationship as well as those he has with his current wife.
