Nicah The Queen takes legal action against Emma Jalamo

By Nicole Kendi January 29th, 2023 2 min read

Gospel singer Nicah The Queen has reportedly taken legal action against fellow musician Emma Jalamo who is said to have been stalking her.

The ‘Na Wewe’ has further accused his colleague in the entertainment industry of attempting to sabotage her relationship with Dj Slahver.

Nicah claims the Ohangla singer has been making romantic advances while her offering money and gifts. The move, she says, has put her in bad books with her lover.

“I know this will look bad on me but I don’t want to lose my relationship @emmajalamo please please I’m in a serious relationship and you are causing me problems with my man! You started with calls at weird hours of the night now it has escalated to you posting me on Facebook,” read her post in part.

“The other day you sent me 200k on my M-PESA causing my man to think we have something going on! I reimbursed the cash and if that was not enough you saw my posts on Instagram and followed me to Mombasa offering me tickets to Malaysia and a blank cheque!”

This came after Emma Jalamo also shared her picture on his Facebook and Instagram pages gushing about the singer’s beauty.

Through her lawyer, Nicah indicates in court documents seen by Nairobi News, that her romantic relationship has been severely affected by the advances.

“@emmajalamo you have 7 days to do the needful or we meet in court! Your actions have caused me a lot! #jesusgirl.”

The demand letter from her lawyer says Jalamo must publish an apology on his Facebook page within seven days.

“The purpose of this letter is therefore to demand from you the immediate admission of liability, a prominent retraction, and an apology to our client for the injury and harm occasioned to her and her family as a consequence of the said publication. We demand that the retraction and apology be published on your Facebook page within seven (7) days from the date of this letter,” read the demand letter.

Emma Jalano has yet to publicly respond to the claims.
