On the day he went missing, the teenager had left the house and headed to school but according to detectives in the USA, he never arrived at school.

Police say that he went to the parking lot of the mall and kept on reaching out to his parents who asked him to go back home.

He never honored the orders and could later go silent on everyone and a search for him was launched.

“I had on that day woke him up at 7am and we prayed together as I told him that God loved him. He then left for school,” she said.

The deceased was fond of complaining that he was a burden to his family but the mother kept on telling him to always pray when he felt low.

“When he left for school he called while crying. So we kept trying to get him to just come home, telling him it was okay. And the phone went silent after that. And that was the last conversation,” she said.
