Akothee: All about my love story
Kenyan artist Akothee born Esther Akothee, has revealed how she met her current lover to her fans.
Akothee, who hinted that they are already engaged, said she met her ‘better half’ on July 16, 2022, at Lake Zug, Switzerland.
The self-proclaimed president of single mothers said they met at a lunch business date organized by Pius, their common friend.
“After meeting, Omosh saved his number on my phone with a name I couldn’t imagine. He saved himself as ‘HUSBAND’ and told me not to delete it,” said Akothee.

The mother of five said that both of them were attracted to each other.
“We then went swimming in lake Zug and later went home. Something funny happened, that we both had a strong attraction towards each other , I didn’t have his number but he had mine , since he saved his number on my phone and called his phone,” noted Akothee.
The Kula Ngoma hitmaker further explained that her lover video-called her through her friend’s phone.
“But then he called his friend and said he wants to talk to me on video call, so we spoke and then he asked me to call him,” added Akothee.

Akothee said she was shocked to learn that the lover had saved himself as ‘Husband’ on her phone.
“This was a shock to me, It has not yet hit me until today. Omosh started treating me like a real queen. I have dated before but no man ever made me feel like a small girl,” said Akothee.
Mama Oyoo also noted that she was tired of paying people’s bills.

They then went for HIV and AIDs testing to ensure they were both okay.
“After three weeks, he introduced me to his family and friends, Omosh has a beautiful sweet family,” said Akothee.
Akothe also clarified that she is not flaunting a video vixen but a real man in her life.
In an angry rant she told trolls, “Before you type b*******t on my wall, go ask your mother how many men she had before she settled for your father,or even if that man you call your father is your father , some of you here would kill their mothers if frog matched to DNA kuweni wapole . You won’t bully me by the way. I will block or give it to you.”
Adding, “Your body count is 80 at the age of 20 what will you be at 40? Jwala. I am 40 with 5 men calculate how disciplined I am. Again I don’t cheat in my relationship. I date one man at a time, and people’s husbands is a bitter pill to me. I love my man alone.”
