Celebrity couples expecting to meet their newborns today
If all goes well, then there will be a new addition to the family of celebrity couple American-Nigerian actor Rotimi and Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee who will be welcoming their second child today.
Rotimi shared a video of himself and his wife Vanessa moments before they left for the hospital. In the video, Vanessa appears emotional with tears coming out of her eyes.
“To think 9 months of this journey all comes to this very moment! On our way to the hospital everyone. We’re nervous but excited… we’re calm but hyped… all of this blended into this one amazing emotion of love! She’s coming,” Rotimi said.

“No more #AnyDayNow! We are officially in any hour now mode. My baby girl is almost here. Everyone send @vanessamdee big love. #GirlDad is on the way,” he said in a separate post.
Last November, the couple held a gender reveal party where they announced to their friends and family that they are expecting a baby girl.

In a video they shared, the couple is seen standing close to one another with Rotimi holding a black umbrella right before he opened it over them for pink coloured roses to fall.
Rotimi and Vanessa welcomed their first child, Seven, in September 2021, news which they shared still on their social media.

“She’s finally giving birth… this is the moment we have been waiting for. We are so excited and anxious at the same time. Pray for us,” Carey and Benito both shared on Instagram.
Carey, who is also an actress and make-up artist welcomed her first child in 2021. The couple is expecting a baby boy.
