Famous people who have attended Pastor Ezekiel’s New Life mega-church prayers
For the past few weeks, Pastor Ezekiel Odero has been making waves for his miraculous works, ability to attract thousands of congregants and owning a mega church that is slowly transforming into a mega city on the 65-acre piece of land it sits on.
The mega-church is surrounded by his executive lounge, restaurants, banks, petrol station, helipad, guest cottages and a residential flat in the same compound.
Under construction in the same compound are an international school, a university, a hospital and additional cottages to host visitors from across the world.
He also sells what he calls holy items such as holy handkerchiefs and water for people seeking healing from various issues.
His New Life Church held a prayer rally at the beginning of December 2022, and he managed to fill it to the brim with worshipers from across the country.
This is an occurrence only common with highly popular politicians- including presidents- but he managed to fill it up with little effort.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s wife, Dorcas
Dorcas Gachagua, the spouse of the Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, was among tens of thousands of congregants who attended Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s prayer rally held at the beginning of December 2022 at the Moi International Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi County. The stadium was filled to the bream, a phenomenon only common with extremely popular and loved politicians in Kenya. Dorcas Gachagua is a religious leader, having turned to preach after leaving her banker job in 2006.

Pastor Pius Muiru
Pastor Pius Muiru was one of the people who helped Pastor Ezekiel grow into the religious leader he is today. According to Pastor Muiru’s son, Andrew Young, his father was instrumental in Pastor Ezekiel’s growth and the doctrine he preaches. In his own capacity, Pastor Muiru is also a renowned religious leader in Kenya who heads the Maximum Miracle Center church which is known to attract tens of thousands of congregants just as Pastor Ezekiel’s mega-church does.

Conjestina Achieng and son, Charltone Otieno
In July 2022, former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko facilitated the transportation of Kenyan female boxing champion Conjestina Achieng and her son, Charltone Otieno from Siaya county to Kilifi County for prayers.
Pastor Ezekiel and his New Life megachurch are located in Kilifi. Mike Sonko said the family had opted to go for prayers for the ailing Conjestina who has been in and out of several hospitals and rehabilitation centres over the years after her health began deteriorating.
It remains unknown whether the outspoken politician accompanied Conjestina and her son to meet the renowned Pastor.
