The late MP Chepkut’s friend discloses secrets

The late William Chepkut’s friend Sagero disclosed secrets about the lawmaker’s life during the funeral ceremony that was held on Tuesday.

Sagero shared details about the ex-Ainakboi’s parliamentarian when he was given a chance to eulogise his friend.

“There’s a sister of Chepkut who donated her kidney to the late in 2000. By then Chepkut had one child but after the kidney transplant, he was able to sire 5 boys. If it were not for that lady would we be having Chepkut’s sons?”

Adding that they wooed ladies together, the witty friend said, “I did a wedding with a lady Chepkut gave me Dr Phylis Cherono we went to America, she wanted to stay there but I came back.”

Upon returning, the late’s funny friend revealed, “I married again. My first wife, it was Chepkut who looked for her. My second wife Naomi, we wooed her with Chepkut.”

The two had another friend who doubled up as Chepkut’s boss Nicholas Biwott, who advised the two gentlemen to look for pretty ladies as they were ‘not handsome’ so that their offspring could be good-looking.

“Every time all the women we wooed, we would take them to Biwott. He would analyse them and say Chepkut you are too dark she is also dark, do not marry this one.”

Biwott would then tell Sagero when he took his women for vetting, “Sagero her teeth are out, look for one whose teeth are inside so that you sire good looking children.”

Not done, Sagero went ahead and recognized Chepkut’s three wives.

“When I married Naomi, Chepkut married a woman of Eritrean origin so as to sire good looking children.”

Adding, “The third wife of Chepkut was my girlfriend. She came to my office to look for a Thailand passport. I saw she was good looking and I took her for a lunch date together with Chepkut.

I have never seen her from that time and Chepkut never told me he married my girlfriend.”
